We are a prayer ministry committed to interceding for our members and community. We believe in the transformative power of prayer to bring comfort, healing, and divine intervention into every life circumstance.
Communities Evangelical Crusader are a Christ-centred, Bible-based evangelical missionary organization dedicated to fulfilling the Great Commission (Matthew 28:19-20). We are passionate about bringing the Gospel of Jesus Christ to the unreached, disciple believers, and empowering communities through faith, service, and love.
We seek to transform lives and glorify God through evangelism, church planting, discipleship, and humanitarian outreach. We collaborate with local churches and ministries to spread the message of salvation, provide spiritual and physical support, and equip leaders to serve their communities effectively.
Our mission is driven by prayer, compassion, and a commitment to sharing the love of Christ with all people regardless of background or circumstances. Whether through preaching, education, medical aid, or social initiatives, we strive to be the hands and feet of Jesus in a world in need.
Join us in making an eternal impact as we spread hope, faith, and love across the nations.
The name of the Lord is a strong tower; the righteous run into it and are safe. Proverb 18:10
Evangelist Joseph Onok is the visionary and founder of the Communities Evangelistic Crusade, a faith-driven initiative committed to proclaiming the Gospel of Jesus Christ and impacting communities through the power of God's word and compassionate outreach. A devoted husband and father, Evangelist Onok began his evangelical journey in September 1991 in Lagos state in Nigeria, immediately after receiving a divine mantle and clear calling from the Lord. Since then, he has faithfully carried out his God-given assignment, spreading the Good News of salvation and demonstrating the love of Christ wherever the Lord sends him.
Over the years, God has used Evangelist Onok as a vessel of healing, deliverance, and restoration. His ministry has witnessed remarkable miracles—including supernatural breakthroughs, healing testimonies, and the release of wrongfully sentenced individuals from maximum-security prisons. He is known for "doing good everywhere he goes," with a heart full of compassion for both souls and communities.
Evangelist Onok continues to serve tirelessly, leading evangelistic crusades, equipping the saints, and partnering with churches, leaders, and communities for the advancement of the Kingdom of God. His passion remains rooted in reaching the lost, uniting the body of Christ, and glorifying Jesus in every nation and neighbourhood.
These are the foundational doctrines that guide our faith and practice as a ministry:
We believe that Adam and Eve, the precursors of the entire human race, were created in the image of God; however, they disobeyed God and became sinners. Through Adam, all people inherited sin's nature and consequences, and all are in need of a Redeemer (Genesis 1:27; Romans 5:12, 19).
We believe that Christ died for all of us while we were still sinners; He took the punishment for our sin. With His own blood, He purchased salvation and redemption for all who believe in Him (John 3:16; Isaiah 53:5; Titus 2:14).
We believe that salvation is totally an act of God's grace that is accessed through faith in Jesus Christ. No person can be good enough to earn salvation, and "being good" does not contribute to receiving God's love and favor (Ephesians 2:8, 13).
We believe that, when people repent for their sins and accept Christ, they are justified through Jesus' sacrificial death on the cross. To repent means to be sorry for sins, but it also means to turn away from a sinful lifestyle. Accepting Christ means believing in Him as the only Savior. To be justified means being declared "not guilty" in regard to sin (Romans 10:9-10; 1 John 1:9).
We believe that the change that takes place in people when they are "born again" is very real. They receive righteousness through Jesus Christ, and they are empowered by the Holy Spirit; therefore, they should have new desires, interests and pursuits (John 3:3; 2 Corinthians 5:17).
We believe that people who have been born again grow in sanctification—which means that they separate themselves from the value system of the world and embrace and live according to the values of the kingdom that Jesus proclaimed. As they do so, they increase in holiness, faith, power, prayer, love and service (2 Corinthians 7:1).
